I BELIEVE I CAN FLY is the title of the collection and song about flying and making dreams come true. Dreams of flying are old planes – Spitfire, Mustangs and many others. Their colors and ornaments.
And my favorite 1920s and 1930s. Time of designers and colorful female characters from the world of music, film and cabaret. And Amalia Earhart. The first Pilot woman to be ahead of her time. The first woman to cross the Atlantic.
Old Planes (Warbirds) is the main inspiration of the collection. However, this does not mean “clothes in old planes”. My goal was to create a print from “old planes”. And then the multiplication of the single pattern so obtained that a multi-colored fabric was created.
The “WarBirds” motif consists of 26 symbols of selected old aircraft. My favorite Spitfires and Mustangs. When designing it, I first had to simplify and defragment the images of old aircraft. Then, putting together and composing, I created a print-pattern.
The multifaceted aspect of the women’s world of the 1920s and 1930s contained in one form: OVERALL. Simple and practical form. Multi-colored thanks to the colors used.
The contemporary aspect of the collection is the material used: breathable non-woven fabric, delicate and soft. Obtained using modern technology. Earlier it was not used in the clothing industry.
I BELIEVE I CAN FLY: Multicolored and Modern. This is My Collection. Like every woman!
